Welcome to InSync Psychology, a compassionate space dedicated to enhancing mental health and overall wellbeing. Led by Amanda, a highly experienced psychologist since 2001, our practice is grounded in a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities.
In Sync Psychology was created after Amanda decided to change career paths from managing psychological services to returning back to what she loved the most which is face to face counselling.
Amanda believes that counselling should be about focusing on the individual, rather than simply treating people as having a mental illness. Understanding what is impacting on our mental health, how we are affected by our past and by our current environments and relationships. Our mental health is something that needs to be managed for us to reach our full potential and function at our best.

Amanda's Professional Journey
Amanda, the heart of InSync Psychology, has been a guiding light in the psychological community since 2001. Her passion for helping people is matched by her extensive experience in addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues.
Amanda is a registered psychologist with a BA in Psychology (Hons) and an Associate Membership of the Australian Psychological Society (Assoc MAPS). Her experience is diverse, encompassing roles in EAP services in the Hunter Valley Region and managing psychological services and staff within the Drug and Alcohol Foundation of Queensland. With extensive experience in critical incident services and trauma response teams, Amanda has also provided supervision and training to psychologists specialising in counselling, addictions, and trauma work.
